About Andy Grammer
Andrew Grammer, also known as Scott Charles Grammer, is an American singer-songwriter and record producer. He’s currently signed on with S-Curve Records.
Early Career
Grammer’s career began as a busker on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. While busking, he was discovered by Ben Singer in July 2009 and signed on with S-Curve Records in April 2010. He found an early audience with his most popular songs at the time including: “Honey, I’m Good.”, “Keep Your Head Up”, “Fine by Me”, “Lunatic”, “Ladies”, “Fresh Eyes”, “Biggest Man in L.A.”, “Numbers”, “Stepping Stone”, “Couple More Sleeves”, “Fireflies”, and “The Pocket”.
But arguably his breakout hit was when his debut video “Keep Your Head Up” featuring Rainn Wilson, became an ITunes Video of the Week in 2010. He also performed the song on The Rachael Ray Show on November 17, 2010. Also, Billboard named him an “Artist to Watch” in January 2011. This may have led to the video winning MTV’s “O Music Awards” for the most innovative video in April 2011.
